The property's location is peaceful, near Varlet Farm, and other battlefields. Staff is very amiable and you can park your car on-site. Rooms are well-equipped and spotless with fridge full of beer, soft drinks and wine, food is delicious👌

Everything exceeded high expectations, I would come here again. I was upgraded to spotless triple room with a large bathroom. the setting of hotel was exceptionally nice, to local villages. Plus, it was adjacent to the battlefield, the garden and the Brussels airport.

The hotel had a super location next to the battlefield of Passchendaele, the farm, and Belgium. We had a great stay for 4 nights.

The rural hotel is peaceful with clean, modern rooms and plenty of toiletries. The communal area has a well-stocked fridge. The owner is knowledgeable about local WW1 history and helpful with tips. Breakfast is delicious. A great stay.

The location here is perfect, within walking distance of everything we wanted to do, and it's in a peaceful area.

had a wonderful honeymoon in poelkapelle and varlet farm made it even more special. the cozy room, complimentary drinks, and delicious breakfast were top-notch. david's knowledge of ww1 and the museum onsite were impressive. definitely exceeded expectations!

We had an incredible 5-night stay at a charming countryside farmhouse. the hosts, David and his lovely wife, were extremely friendly and welcoming. the accommodation and bedroom were exceptionally clean, and the breakfast was a true feast with tasty local produce. Varlet Farm is ideally located to explore the historic area of Ypres and its surroundings. David, the host, went above and beyond to ensure our comfort and was very informative about the local area. We were impressed by their dedication and hard work. It's hard to understand how anyone could rate them less than perfect!
